Keep a reading log - click here to download the file or pick up a copy at the library.
Get a raffle ticket for each book (over 80 pages) that you read. Get bonus tickets for longer books, one ticket for each additional 200 pages. Get two bonus tickets for reading a book on your school summer reading list. Prizes include gift certificates and tickets to local attractions. First raffle drawing is at our Thursday Fun Finale on July 29th and an additional raffle will be held after August 31 so keep reading throughout the summer and bring in your reading logs to get tickets before each raffle date.

Read 5 Books: Get a free sundae at the Hudson Dairy Queen
Read 10 Books: Get a free string of bowling or $5 off glow bowling at Leda Lanes
Read 15 Books: Get $5 worth of tokens at FunWorld
Read 20 Books: Get a "Life is Good" t-shirt while supplies last

Teen Book Group: 3rd Wednesdays @ 7 p.m.
Students in grades 6-12 come talk about books and suggest titles for us to add to our collection. Refreshments will be served. Get a raffle ticket for attending the summer discussions.
August 18: The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor
A twist on Alice in Wonderland. Find out the "real" story of what happened to Alice. Books are available at the library.
Like us on Facebook: Get Raffle Tickets
Facebook users, go to http://www.facebook.com/rodgerslibrary and "like" us. You will get a raffle ticket for a chance to win summer reading program prizes. Get an additional raffle ticket every time you recommend (or dis-recommend) a book on our Facebook reading discussions for teens and adults. Recommendations must contain at least a paragraph to qualify for a ticket. Fill out tickets when you come to the library.
