The library runs several continuing book and alternate media groups throughout the year. See below for descriptions and registration information.

Access Wisdom Book Group

Meets the second Thursday of each month @ 7pm.
A book club highlighting books that help us all gain more access to our own wisdom. We’ll discuss a range of books, from self-help to memoir to creative nonfiction, that give us insight into our own minds and help us take action and live out our values. This book group is currently not active.
For more information, email Carrie Loring.

Afternoon Book Group

Meets on the third Tuesday of each month @ 1:30pm.
Join us each month for a lively discussion on a book chosen by the group: Usually fiction, but sometimes non-fiction. Register by clicking here.
For more information, email moderator Linda Pilla.

Cookbook Club

Meets on the last Monday of each month @ 11:30am.
Love to cook and bake? Join us as we sample and discuss recipes from popular cookbooks and food themes! Prepare and bring a recipe to share from this month's topic, then engage with others about your recipe adventures. Register by clicking here.
For more information, email book club leader Marissa Sweeney.

Crime and Cookies! True Crime Podcast Club

Meets on the third Wednesday of each month @ 7pm.
Don't know how podcast club works? It's exactly like a book club - but instead of reading a book prior to the meeting you listen to a podcast! Join us as we discuss this month's listen while enjoying a tasty dessert. Register by clicking here
For more information, email group leader Carrie Loring.

Mystery Lovers' Book Group

Meets on the second Monday of each month @ 12:30pm.
Love whodunits? Then this book club is for you! Copies of the book are available at the Circulation Desk. All are welcome. Register by clicking here.

Nonfiction Book Group

Tentatively meets on the second Wednesday of each month @ 7pm.
Do you enjoy true stories about people who’ve faced incredible challenges and come out stronger? This group will explore inspiring tales of courage and resilience - from wars and natural disasters to moments of human triumph throughout history.
